The diesel agreement between Trump and Putin... Why did Russian oil tankers towards the United States change their route?
The first oil tankers, which were supposed to transport Russian diesel fuel to the United States, changed course and no longer headed towards the American coast. This decision may put a final end to the agreement signed between the President of the United States Donald Trump and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin before the mid-term elections. Moscow, for its part, denied the change of the tankers' route, according to Kirill Dmitriev, a Russian businessman close to Putin, who defined it as "fake news".
