Donald Trump announces the reduction of annual security aid to Israel in agreement with Netanyahu.
US President Donald Trump on Tuesday revealed the end of the defense assistance agreement under which Israel was to receive $3.8 billion annually until 2028. Trump noted that the cancellation of the aid, which has been extended since 2019, was agreed upon with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and pointed out that Israel "does not need it anymore, and if it needed it, and if it needed it, I should have continued the support in Washington."
