Spanish League: Tenerife striker Jesus de Miguel died after a collision with the Andorra goalkeeper.
The Spanish club Tenerife announced on Tuesday the tragic death of its 30-year-old striker, Jesus de Miguel, as a result of a serious injury resulting from a strong collision with the Andorran goalkeeper, Jesus Uno, during a match in the second division. The Spanish Football Federation expressed its feeling of "deep shock at this sad news", and decided to postpone all Copa del Rey matches scheduled for Tuesday evening.
