France: More than 770 people were arrested during the recent protests and an investigation into "attempted murder" was opened.
French police arrested more than 770 people during new demonstrations across the country on Saturday against the cost of living and education conditions, according to what the Interior Ministry announced. The public prosecution also announced the opening of an "attempted murder" investigation after a Molotov cocktail was thrown at the security forces on the sidelines of these demonstrations in Paris.
