France: Clashes between police and protesters in new demonstrations in which hundreds of thousands participated.
Hundreds of thousands protested on Saturday in various French cities, led by Paris, due to the high cost of living, widening social inequality and police violence. The authorities announced that about 320,000 people participated in the demonstrations, including 70,000 in the capital, while youth organizations and student unions said that about half a million people demonstrated across the country, including 200,000 in Paris.
