Saudi Arabia announced the interception of Houthi attacks and two missiles aimed at the presidential palace in Aden.
A Yemeni security official reported Friday that the Houthis attacked the presidential palace in Aden with two missiles, while the Saudi-led coalition announced the interception of a ballistic missile and UAVs in several areas of the kingdom, including Riyadh, Mecca and Medina. On the other hand, the Houthis denied that they carried out any attack towards the Saudi rear. The escalation comes as clashes continue in Yemen, where more than 1,600 people have been killed and some 275,000 displaced since fighting resumed in July.
