France is preparing for a Tuesday of protests, and the Ministry of the Interior warns of violence.
France is awaiting Saturday, the third day of protests against the cost of living in three weeks, amid warnings of a "very high risk of public unrest." These protests, in which hundreds of thousands participate, come in response to the calls of the unions. Interior Minister Laurent Nunez's assistant expected the protests planned for Saturday to witness acts of violence "similar" to the October 17 demonstrations, which included the burning of public buildings and the looting of thousands of shops in Paris, Lyon and Marseille.
