Italy: A wave of student demonstrations in several cities amid fears of renewed violence.
On Friday, several Italian cities, including Rome, Milan, Turin, Bologna and Palermo, witnessed massive student protests amid fears of a repeat of the violence that Milan witnessed in mid-October. These protests come as part of an ongoing wave of movements to demand action to confront climate change, increase school funding and provide housing assistance, as well as higher living costs, amid the Maloney government's rearmament policy.
