Elections in Israel: what are the possible scenarios for forming the next government?
Despite the leadership of the Likud party led by Benjamin Netanyahu and its allies, in the initial results of the elections for Israeli lawmakers, neither his camp nor the opposition bloc led by Gadi Eisenkot succeeded in obtaining the parliamentary majority necessary to form the next government. While the counting of votes continues, four possible scenarios are revealed, ranging from the establishment of a government coalition to the organization of new elections, or an appeal to a minority government, if no bloc manages to obtain 61 seats.
