Hours after failing to win the Ballon d'Or, France star Kylian Mbappe has lost sponsorship from two Chinese brands for what both companies described as "hurting national sentiments". The case caused a huge uproar in China after a video circulated online showing the Real Madrid player joking about the founder of the People's Republic of China, Mao Zedong, who died in 1976.
