The arrest of the suspect in the "terrorist and racist" trap attack west of Paris was extended and his family members were arrested.

The French prosecutor's office for the fight against terrorism, which is investigating the case of the attack that happened on Friday in the suburbs of Paris, reported that the period of the suspect's detention was extended after transferring him to a preliminary investigation. The prosecution stated that three of his family members and friends were arrested late Friday evening. President Emmanuel Macron said that the "terrorist and racist" attack, in which one person was killed and five others injured, was a "turning point in the history of France".
