Istanbul hosts talks with foreign ministers of 7 countries regarding Hormuz, Saudi Arabia and the Ukraine war.

Seven European and Middle Eastern countries discussed on Friday in Istanbul the security of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, escalation in Saudi Arabia, developments in the Palestinian territories and Yemen, in addition to the Russian-Ukrainian war. The meeting brings together the foreign ministers of France, Britain and Germany with their counterparts from Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Egypt, amid calls for a diplomatic solution to the Hormuz crisis and Turkey's warnings of escalating conflicts, particularly in the Black Sea.
