Egypt calls to examine all possibilities to reach a political solution between Saudi Arabia and the Houthis.

Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Atty said on Thursday that all options must be discussed to reach a political solution between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Houthis, stressing Egypt's "full solidarity" with Riyadh. The minister's statements come at a time when hostilities between the Saudi-led coalition and the Iran-backed Houthis have been renewed since July, after the collapse of the ceasefire. This continued for years, and its pace escalated when the group launched a massive offensive during which they took control of the Red Sea coastal areas and imposed a naval blockade on the kingdom.
