France: A partial curfew in Paris and other cities to contain unrest following cost-of-living protests

On Monday, the French authorities imposed a curfew in parts of the capital Paris and several other cities, including Lille and Nice, in light of the growing pressure to curb the riots and looting that broke out on Saturday amid protests against government policies. It comes as organizers have called for a new round of protests next Saturday.
