Colombia joins the limited circle of countries that have opened their embassies in Jerusalem

On Wednesday, Colombia opened its embassy in Jerusalem, whose status as Israel's capital is not recognized by the international community. With this step, Bogotá is among the countries that have established their diplomatic representation in this city. Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar referred to this event as "an important day for the State of Israel".
