Sudan: Al-Burhan ordered an investigation into attacks near the border with Egypt that killed 72 people

The Transitional Sovereignty Council in Sudan issued a decision on Monday to establish a fact-finding committee in order to reveal the circumstances of the air strike in which 72 workers were killed in a gold mine on Saturday, which a human rights organization attributed to Cairo. Saturday's attack is the second of its kind this year targeting the Jabal al-Aqidat area, after an attack in June that killed 23 workers at an unofficial gold mining site.
