On Sunday, Spanish authorities evacuated the last large migrant camp in the city of Ceuta, two days before a planned visit by King Felipe VI and his wife, in a move that comes more than two months after more than 70,000 people from Morocco flocked to the city under Spanish sovereignty. Hundreds of migrants were bussed to reception centers, while some fled to nearby hills to avoid being transported, amid a political crisis in Madrid and European concern about the consequences of the influx.
