France: Five candidates compete in the primary race to represent the Socialists in the 2027 presidential elections

The Socialist primaries will be held on Friday and Saturday, October 9 and 10, with the participation of five candidates, including two names from outside the Socialist Party, in an effort to unite the ranks of the left, away from Jean-Luc Melanchon's "Proud France" party. 140,000 people participate in this internal vote.
