High school student protests in France: calls for new movements and a strike on Thursday, amid government promises

High school student protests continued Wednesday in the capital Paris, as students from the Institute of Political Science walked out in solidarity with high school students. Many demonstrators, using slogans and banners, condemned the actions of the security forces, whose members face accusations of excessive violence. On the other hand, the Ministry of Education reported that the mobilization of secondary school students "witnessed a significant decrease" on Wednesday afternoon, and noted that "nine out of ten secondary schools are operating as usual".
