France: Stopping the use of stun grenades during student protests after a minor protester's hand was severed
French Interior Minister Laurent Nunez decided on Wednesday, in a radio message, to suspend the use of stun grenades during demonstrations by high school students, until the circumstances of the injury of a 15-year-old protester, which led to the amputation of his hand, are clarified. The decision comes as protests continue across France demanding improved school conditions.
