Farewell time has come for Lionel Messi and the Argentina national team, with the legendary player playing his final international game with Albiceleste on Tuesday at the Monumental Stadium in the capital, Buenos Aires, in a friendly with Benin. Messi, the team's all-time top scorer with 125 goals, will play his 208th match with Argentina in front of 85,000 spectators, along with several of his teammates with whom he reached the pinnacle of footballing glory, as well as members of the rising Argentine generation.
