Far from the horrors of war... A free school in Sinai gives displaced children from Gaza a ray of hope
Far from the horrors of war and the scenes of destruction, hundreds of students displaced from the Gaza Strip seek to complete their academic path, benefiting from the initiative of Palestinian teacher Hadeel Zorob in cooperation with her colleagues who settled in the city of Al-Arish in Egypt's North Sinai Governorate. Zorob began teaching a small group of children inside a rented building. This initiative then developed into a free school serving about 400 male and female students aged 6 to 18, after the number stood at about 150 students in its first year of establishment.
