German Chancellor Friedrich Merz pledged from Kyiv on Sunday to continue his country's support for Ukraine. Amid escalating Russian attacks on Ukrainian cities, Merz, accompanied by CEOs of German defense companies, added: "I will tell President Zelenskyy today: You can continue to rely on our help." Zelenskyy previously confirmed, following a phone call with Merz, that Kyiv will soon finalize the agreement with Berlin for the production of drones, missiles, and related software.
