"Fly Dubai" flight: Media outlets reveal that the co-pilot was banned from flying in Amman

Media reports received by international media on Saturday confirmed that the Omani co-pilot who stabbed the flydubai captain during a flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv had been banned from flying in his country for security reasons related to suspicions of holding extremist views. Media outlets said he joined flydubai after leaving his job at Oman Air and failing to secure a job at Emirates Airlines.
