Morocco: Al-Mansouri continues consultations to form the government
For the second day in a row, Morocco's prime minister-designate Fatima Zahraa al-Mansouri continued her consultation with party leaders to form a new government, after her Authenticity and Modernity party topped parliamentary elections. Al-Mansouri received the Secretary General of the Constitutional Union Party, which came in eighth place in the elections. Al-Mansouri began her consultations yesterday with a meeting with the leaders of the National Assembly of Liberals, Independence, the People's Movement, the Socialist Union and the parties of Progress and Socialism. On the other hand, the Secretary General of the Justice and Development Party, Abdelilah Bankiran, refused to meet with Al-Mansouri at her party's headquarters.
