Washington is talking to mediators about Iran and Trump expects victory soon

Against the background of Qatar's efforts to revive the negotiation process between Washington and Tehran, US President Donald Trump said that American officials had spoken with mediators and expected a near victory in the war with Iran, while Tehran denies the existence of planned direct negotiations. This happened at the same time as tensions around the Strait of Hormuz, escalation in Yemen, Saudi-Emirati movements and Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to Abu Dhabi.
