The UAE's official news agency, WAM, reported on Monday that President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday. The agency added that the two sides discussed "bilateral relations between the United Arab Emirates and Israel and ways to strengthen and develop them." Israeli media reported on Sunday that Netanyahu made an unannounced visit to the United Arab Emirates to meet its president.
