Macron intends to send military means to “protect” a major energy site in Saudi Arabia

French President Emmanuel Macron said Thursday that he will send military means to “protect” the Yanbu facilities in western Saudi Arabia, which is one of the most important oil sites on the western coast of the Kingdom. It is the main Saudi port for exporting crude on the Red Sea, and it played an essential role during the war in the Middle East in light of the disruption of movement in the Strait of Hormuz.
