Russia: Voting begins in legislative elections with the participation of parties that support Putin and the war in Ukraine

Russians will head to the polls on Friday to vote in legislative elections, the first since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, in which victory is considered assured for President Vladimir Putin's United Russia party. Only groups that support Putin's policies and the war in Ukraine were allowed to participate in these elections.
