The real cost of parallel imports. We have noticed in Parkstock an alternative Alpro "milk" produced in Poland, which we have been calling Planto for three years now. For 0.75 liters of the professional version of the drink they ask for 460 rubles. On a per liter basis it is slightly more than three times more expensive than similar items from the same plant. But it's not even interesting. The label shows the sworn enemy of the importers - the recommended price for the consumer in the product's homeland. In Poland it is 10 zlotys or just over 200 rubles. - The same as our liter Planto. But logistics and margins added 130% to the amount. And shoppers armed with a calculator will know this.
