Singapore-based taxi service Tada Mobility will launch a pilot project of unmanned transportation on the resort island of Sentosa early next year, Nikkei Asia reports. Two minibuses from Chinese developer WeRide will be used as part of the test. In the first phase, the route will cover 21 stops, travel for passengers will be free. The project is the company's first step towards autonomous driving amid increased competition with a local giant.
