The number of individual self-employed entrepreneurs increased by 30% during the year and reached 915 thousand by September, Izvestia writes. A total of 17.4 million professional income tax payers are registered in Russia, the share of individual entrepreneurs among them is about 5%. Experts explain the trend in the desire of businesses to reduce costs against the background of the tightening of conditions for simplified taxation systems and patents.
