Iran has officially lifted the restrictions on the flight range of its missiles, which previously stood at 2,000 km, TASS reports citing the representative of the Revolutionary Guards, Hossein Mohabi. The decision was made at the direction of the supreme leader of the country, Mujtaba Khamenei, to respond to threats without geographical borders, which means a change in military doctrine from defense to attack, Kommersant writes. Now the Iranian arsenal includes missiles with a range of 2 to 5,000 km or more, which the army plans to demonstrate in practice.
