Researchers from Vanderbilt University identified suspicious bets on Polymarket and Kalshi platforms before election polls were published, the New York Times writes. An unknown user bet on results that matched the not-yet-published data and won more than $250,000. Previously, from the same crypto wallet, tokens of the World Liberty Financial project related to the Donald Trump family were purchased for $910,000.
