Paraguay's Senate has voted to impeach President Santiago Peña, La Nacion reports. The reason for the impeachment of the head of state was the crisis surrounding the Ouano Bank, where the accounts of about 3 million customers were frozen. In the past, Pena announced his resignation due to a criminal investigation, but the members of parliament officially completed the procedure, and found him guilty of improper performance of duties.
