The profile committee of the State Duma recommended rejecting the bill to introduce fines from 3 to 5 thousand rubles and disqualification for dangerous driving, writes an expert magazine. The representatives considered that the proposed penalty is disproportionate, and the term itself is legally ambiguous. According to the committee, the lack of clear criteria for dangerous driving may lead to a vague practice of law enforcement and a systematic violation of the rights of drivers.
