The Attorney General's Office of Paraguay has opened criminal cases against the country's outgoing president, Santiago Peña, and a number of officials, RBC writes. The investigation is related to the attack on the foot of Oano Bank and it concerns the restructuring procedures of the credit institution as well as the deposit of public funds in it in the amount of up to 850 million dollars. Before the collapse, the bank served about 3 million customers, about 60% of Paraguay's adult population.
