In September, the total cost of a mortgage loan in Russia fell to 16.4%, reaching an annual minimum. According to the data of the National Bureau of Credit History, cited by RBC, during the year the figure decreased by 2.2 percentage points, and compared to August - by 0.7 percentage points. The NBKI attributes the dynamics to the fact that market rates fell following the central bank's key interest rate with a certain time lag.
