The special representative of the Russian President Kirill Dmitriev arrived in Washington for meetings with representatives of the American administration, reports Reuters. The visit became the first face-to-face contact between senior officials of the two countries after the mid-term elections for the US Congress. The parties are expected to discuss the economy, business agreements and humanitarian issues during the talks. The trip takes place on the eve of tripartite consultations between Russia, the United States and Ukraine, scheduled for November 10 in Abu Dhabi.
