Toyota's July-September operating profit rose 34% to 1.13 trillion yen ($7.1 billion), Reuters reports. An increase in the index was recorded for the first time in six quarters. The growth was driven by the weakening of the yen and strong demand for hybrid vehicles, which allowed the automaker to compensate for declining sales in China and the Middle East.
