Apple is lowering the daily AI spending limits for its engineers from $300 to $200, Bloomberg reports. Going forward, the company plans to cut the budgets of some teams to $100 or $25 per day. The index is designed to optimize costs: at the end of fiscal year 2026, Apple's research and development costs increased by 32%.
