Online retailer Shine is investing 500 million euros in expanding its European logistics center in Poland, Reuters reports. The project is being carried out against the background of the European Union introducing new fees on packages under 150 euros, due to which the company's net profit in the second quarter decreased by 67%. By the end of 2026, the team of the project near Wroclaw will exceed 10 thousand people, and the number of autonomous robots will reach 6.5 thousand, which will allow the delivery of goods in certain markets within 48 hours.
