During the nine months of 2026, the material damage from economic crimes in Russia reached a record of 457.1 billion rubles, Kommersant writes, citing data from the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The total number of crimes discovered in this area increased by 7.3% in annual terms, and amounted to 95.2 thousand cases, of which 71.1% were serious and particularly serious crimes. The damage from all types of crimes in the country during that period is estimated at 656.4 billion rubles.
