Customers from Russia and Belarus are preparing a class action lawsuit against Argentina's largest private bank, Bank Galicia, due to the massive closing of accounts without warning, writes Frank Media. The application is expected to be submitted by the end of November. According to the victims, hundreds of people born in the Russian Federation, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan were blocked on October 28, including naturalized citizens from Argentina and employees of local companies. The plaintiffs demand that the actions of the credit institution be recognized as discriminatory and that compensation be paid for damages.
