The number of bookings for tours around Russia in 2026 has decreased by 5%, and the number of overnight stays by 8%, RBC reports, citing the president of the Russian Travel Industry Association Ilya Umansky. The decline was unevenly distributed: the hardest hit was Crimea, which lost about 70% of the tourist flow, and Sochi, with a 20% drop. Against this background, the average trip duration at the end of the summer season decreased by 2%, and part of the tourist flow was redistributed in favor of other areas.
