The number of open job vacancies in the United States rose by 333,000 in September, to a four-month high of 7.52 million, Bloomberg reports. At the same time, the number of layoffs decreased to the minimum in more than a year, and the share of those who left voluntarily rose to 2.1%. The dynamics indicate continued strong demand for work towards the fourth quarter.
