By 2030, Russia plans to double the number of geriatric doctors, Kommersant writes. According to the country's chief geriatrician, Maxim Kabanov, the current supply of specialists of this type is uneven: in Moscow the need is completely covered, and in the Nantes autonomous region - only 15%. Since older patients traditionally prefer to see therapists, the expert suggests continuing to develop special skills among all doctors.
