In Dagestan, on the basis of the "City of Shoemakers" industrial cluster, three import-substituting production of components were launched with a total investment of 165 million rubles, RBC reports. The region displayed the ability to produce aluminum molds, shoe soles and insoles. According to the data of the local Ministry of Industry and Trade, a project to expand the production of dedicated footwear worth 250 million rubles is currently being implemented within the cluster.
