Russian LNG plants exported a record 3.42 million tons of liquefied natural gas in October, which is 11.9% more than a year earlier, Kommersant writes. During the ten months of 2026, supply increased by 13.5%, to 28.65 million tons. The main increase was provided by China, which increased purchases by 47% to 8.8 million tons. At the same time, EU countries still account for almost half of Russian LNG exports, but as of January 2027 the region plans to completely stop purchases from the Russian Federation.
