The spot price of gold rose 0.1% in early Asian trading to $3,950.25 an ounce, the Wall Street Journal writes. A day earlier, the quotes were up nearly 2%, reversing their fall to a one-year low amid falling oil prices, which eased investors' inflation concerns. According to Morgan Stanley analysts, the key level for further price movements will be the $4,000 level.
